Furniture is great, delivery needs work

I love my new bedroom set. It is beautiful!! Furniture deserves 5 stars. Delivery needs work though and only deserves 1 star. Delivery was a day late due to the truck breaking down. When it did get there the next day, the delivery driver's drill had a dead battery so they waited for an hour for my husband to get home to borrow his to assemble the furniture. My carpet was cleaned the week before the furniture was delivered and the delivery guys tracked something black on my carpet. He started to take the baby gate down at the end of the hall but only loosened it partially and left it like that without tightening it back up.

The dresser was damaged when delivered. I believe it was the manufacturer, not US Furniture Direct, who decided they wouldn’t replace it because the damage was deemed “cosmetic and minor.” Instead they sent someone to repair it. My interaction with US Furniture Direct was excellent. Nicole was very responsive to me throughout the process. I would buy from them again.
