It holds 8 7.62x29 AK mags (the metal ones) perfectly, still with 3 extra pockets. But the straps are pretty short. For that I needed it for, it was fine (i put it over a russian Zabrolo vest) but i had to modify it using ductape. Would have preferred the straps to have more front adjustability, as the only tighten-ers are on the back. All-in-all, good vest. Nice material. Holds a lot of mags.
