Our family loves the Vanta coffee. We’re espresso brewers and the flavor is so smooth and rich. Perfect for our morning cappuccinos and afternoon afagatos. Muddy Waters is our favorite out of all the roasters in Humboldt. We’re on a subscription service and it gets shipped right to our door.

Dark and Mysterious

I am a loyal fan of Chris Nichols (master roaster) and all Muddy Waters varietals and blends. I did NOT enjoy Vanta as much as virtually all of Chris’s other dark roasts. Vanta has a dark, smokey flavor but not as aromatic as others. Vanta is certainly worth a try for those who explore the “dark and mysterious” coffees.
