FlowArt® - Trace-By-Groove, Desert Dreams

Trace-By-Groove is by far my favorite type of tracing book. The grooves are so satisfying. I personally did not love coloring the pages in after tracing with the included markers, but did love it when I switched to my alcohol markers. The included markers are too prone to smudge the outline. Loved the Desert Dreams theme too! Was pleasantly surprised to see all the camping related pages.

I absolutely LOVE Trace-by-Groove! It’s very satisfying and the end result is wonderful! However, coloring the entire page after tracing is not my favorite thing because the markers smudge, leave overlap marks, and it just doesn’t look good to me personally. As a result, I’ve just been tracing the grooves with the black marker and leaving the page colorless. Which, is still satisfying for me. I would love to see more high-quality markers to be able to color the page after tracing!

Love this new trace by groove desert dreams. It is very calming to first trace the page and then I can make the picture my own by choosing what colors to use. I like to carry this with me at work and do a page between completing large work tasks or when on a work break. I love that it keeps my hands busy and helps me limit screen time. Highly recommended this fun new book from Lifelines. I hope to see more of these with different themes. Holiday versions would be super cool!
