Pique Coffee - Rocketman

Full body bliss

We have tried most of the Pique range of beans. The latest one is Rocket-Man . Wow this is a great full bodied coffee . We normally get the Morning Bell but thought we would try a different roast. This is an excellent roast full of flavour. Yet strong enough for me yet can be toned down to a smooth latte for my wife .

Direct and to the point flavour

Pique Coffee Rocketman is a bold and lively cup. The medium dark roast brings forward clear flavours of chocolate fudge and red plum. The taste is sharp and direct with a noticeable acidity that gives the coffee an energetic edge. There is bitterness present but it does not carry the smokey notes that are often found in this style of roast. Instead the bitterness feels clean and purposeful adding strength without heaviness. The flavours are not muted or hidden but upfront and easy to identify. This makes the cup feel confident and straightforward. It is a coffee that suits those who enjoy a more assertive profile with brightness and clarity balanced by depth and richness.
