I rode the brat intentionally with the stock shock for a few days to see what the DNM upgrade feels like. It's a large difference in performance. After setting the pressure around my body wait it feels more stable at 24+ speed and off road on grass trails. If you plan on going above 20+ speed often you should get this. Also just a tip there is only one way to install it. Which I learned the hard way. The shock's smaller side goes up.
