Absolutely love these shoes!! I have horrible feet and these shoes have made a world of difference. I will definitely be ordering more.

Just another overpriced shoe

I’ve never spent this much on a shoe before so I was expecting great things. Each shoe feels very different on my feet. I figured I just wasn’t used to them yet so I added an hour every day. They still aren’t great. The “heal hugging” technology is nothing to talk about. My heals actually slide around in the shoe and makes my socks slide down. The insoles in the shoes are the exact same size as my other shoes so I don’t think they’re too big. I have other trail runners that are more comfortable and only half the cost. I will continue to wear them only because I used my HSA to pay for them. Hopefully they’ll get better.

High Hopes

I had high hopes for using these shoes to get in shape for a future walk on the Camino in Spain. To date I am just not impressed with them. I have very flat feet that are more narrow than wide but I typically have no pain (unless it’s going to rain, I’m a human barometer!) but these are just not that comfortable. The arch doesn’t feel that it’s really in the right place on my foot and doesn’t feel “right”. My heel continually lifts out of my right shoe a bit. I’ve tried lacing my right shoe a couple of different ways which actually made it even less comfortable across the top of my foot. The shoes are hot, I don’t feel they breathe well at all given the mesh construction. I even wore them with new (expensive) KURU socks. (I actually like the socks, nice compression) I’m actually very disappointed in these hikers especially given how much I paid for them. I even tried the KURU sandals but they didn’t fit at all because they are not offered in half sizes. (I wear a 9.5 and tried both a 9 and a 10) Very disappointed in these very expensive shoes. Too bad KURU doesn’t offer a better return policy which allows a longer time to try to break them in and still return if customers aren’t happy. I’ve given these plenty of miles to break in but I’m regretting my purchase because of the very high price attached to this brand. I guess I’m just out of luck and will need to find a more comfortable shoe from another maker.
