As someone who likes whimsical designs but gets creeped out by Min & Mon's multiple eyes on everything, I was often drawn to the brand but not to the specific designs for awhile. But I kept tabs on the brand. Enter the pigeonista, which has the right number of eyes for each bird yet is still wacky. This is now my everyday black purse with a twist, and the blue embroidery is vibrant pop against the black. The purse is the perfect size for someone who wants a crossbody but didn't want a tiny phone-only or a giant "everything but the kitchen sink" situation. The magnetic closure is strong, and how the flap opens under the grab handle (which is removable) gave me peace of mind that pickpockets wouldn't have an easy time. It's sturdy and well made. I debuted it at a mixer for an event I was attending, and it was perfect and received a lot of compliments. Very pleased in this investment since I rarely buy myself new things at this price point!
