This helmet is AWESOME. I was wearing a POC otocon MiPS; the Gravity 5 is lighter, more ventilated… and most importantly has a 5-star rating from Virginia Tech.
I trust Virginia Tech to protect my brain both mtn biking and BMX racing, and so I trust Leatt Gravity 5 to protect my brain when I am doing stuff I shouldn’t be doing.
If I had a kid who did bikes I would strap them into this helmet.
Oh yeah; Leatt’s biodegradable bags are legit. I planted a couple in my back yard and yes they do decompose.
