UNDYED | CANVAS WORKWEAR CHINO

I liked the attention to detail and quality stitching. The heavy canvas material caused me a little anxiety but, all stitching was tight and without runners. Pockets were flat and well joined. I bought these because I used to buy Carhartt’s five pocket canvas work jeans. I loved those until they started to make them exclusively with flex fabric. They instantly became 40% less durable. The five pocket design was preferable because it could be dressed up and still maintain its rugged durability. These work the same. They are substantial right out of the bag. I have read some reviews complaining or making fun of the price, design or whatever. These trousers are not made for “mud wallowing”. They are made for the man in charge or the one that plans to be. If you’re not sure, maybe just buy one pair for those days when you feel like a boss. A warning though, they are stiff. The best way to fix that is with a nice, long, sweaty work day followed by a good laundering.

They fit OK when I got them. But I didn’t really look very good in them. I took a chance and washed them for about four hours in cold water with a little detergent and vinegar to help soften them. After that, they were perfect. You just need a little patience.
