3 Stars For Germination
I’ve never left a review before on a seeds. However, I’ve bought and planted a lot of seeds on this site. I’m leaving a review on this one just because of my experience which I hope will help people thinking about buying these. First, I would probably give this 3.5 stars if that was an option. I’ve bought two packages of these seeds and so far I’ve only gotten one to go to flower. I like a challenge so I tried different things. But overall out of 90 seeds only one has been productive so I feel like three stars is a just review. Also, the instructions on the packet I feel like could be updated for better results Now that the bad part is out of the way, let’s get to the good part… The first packet I bought, I planted them like I do my normal echinacea seeds. I probably got 20% germination and all the seedlings died before getting a single true leaf. On my second packet, I did a little more research and I decided to stratify those seeds. I also got the Paradiso blend (which I hope the write of review on as well). Because you get so few seats in the Paradiso and Alan pride blend I decided to stratified the seeds and plant one in a single cell. I got almost 100% germination. So I stratified the white swan echinacea, and I got almost 100% in germination. I still had trouble getting the seedlings to the point where they didn’t die out before getting their true leaves. That part is really tough. So of the last 6-cell tray I planted this is the only flower that produced flowers With that being said, the flower is absolutely beautiful. I think it’s stunning. Also, my goal was to get one to go to flower so I can harvest the seed and hopefully create more. So I’m happy to finally get one, but I definitely understand the frustration in the comments for those not getting germination. You’re not doing anything wrong. Because normally I don’t germinate any echinacea seeds and I get great results. But you should definitely try stratifying the seeds. I know this is long-winded, but I see the comments and unlike other varieties this one gave me a ton of trouble. I tried a lot of things. Different starting mixes. But truthfully, this seed should be stratified for about 30 days and you’ll get germination in 4 to 5 days. At that point it’s just a struggle to get that seedling to the point. It can be planted out. Paradiso and Alan pride review will be coming. Good luck in the garden (literally) And keep on growing

Poor Germination
I have a lot of experience with seed starting and I could not get these to germinate. I had the same problem with the Alan’s Pride echinacea seeds purchased here as well. I’m disappointed.

Poor Germination
I sowed the entire packet of seeds and had only 5 germinate. Very disappointing I was looking forward to adding these to my garden this year and share with friends and family.
