Too short shaft?

I have used my Bison short shaft on a smallish tender, after getting fed up with a Honda 2.3 short shaft that could be a pain to start. While the Honda pushed the boat along nicely with no propeller breaking through the surface. With the Bison the propeller is bigger diameter and with the boat loaded the same as before the propeller is partially out of the water at times. In my opinion the shaft needs to be 50mm or so longer

Very Impressed

Only tried it out on an AGM battery - have a LIFePo battery to try. Very impressed with the performance on a 220 Inflatable dinghy with V floor and two up in relatively flat water.

Amazing customer service, and electric engine is capable against the swell and tides, the battery box is a must, a 85amp battery is more than enough
