Need breaking in

I love Blundstones and these shoes are no exception! However, because of where the top of the shoe hits in the front, the leather definitely needs breaking in, unlike the Chelsea boot. They were not comfortable right out of the box and I could only wear them for a few hours at a time the first few days I wore them. They have a good arch support insole and are comfortable for walking if not for the top of the shoe digging into my upper ankle in the front. I can see them becoming a wardrobe staple, though, especially when the weather warms up and a boot is too hot. Sizing Blundstones can be tricky because of the way the different styles are sized. I usually wear a US 7 1/2 and the AU 4 1/2 is a good fit in this style, which I think is a Classic. I wear an AU 5 in their Original, and an AU 4 in their lug sole.

Great shoes

Comfortable and sturdy. Great shoe to wear all day.
