Great Product for a TV without an eArc port

Well built product. My Samsung TV does not have an eArc port. I wanted to have my Sonos Beam output Dobly Atmos sound when watching movies. The HDA-934 allows the signal to be converted to get Dobly Atmos sound. What is also a plus is the the device has multiple inputs and switching capabilities to change inputs as well. Product has met my expectations in terms of performance.

Works okay

I bought this to pass through Atmos as my tv is older. Great news as the switch does that perfectly. Unfortunately the rest of the experience isn’t as good. Automatic switching doesn’t work accurately at all. I had to turn it off a manually change inputs. Customer service also was a complete failure and they never did reply back after the third email that provided no help at all. My previous no name switch worked flawless changing inputs. In addition sometimes the signal works and sometimes the signal doesn’t come through as well. Too bad I really thought this would work as the cheaper option I had.

Neat little device

Would of given five stars. The only issue I have with this is when using it in earc mode and set the input to auto, the switch will default to the hdmi one port. The port used for earc. Which doesn't make any sense. No matter what is powered on the video will choose port one. So to correct it I set the switch to manual and use another switch that i know works flawlessly in parallel with it. The audio switching and earc features work great. I'm happy with my setup.
