This book had me from the start, so good. You know a book is good when you feel all the emotions of the characters, Orin totally blew me away way.. I can’t wait for the 2nd book!!

Compelling story weaves with deep lore to bring a vivid world to life, while the flawed characters make it lived in and real. A beautiful representation of grief, anxiety, and trauma, and how it shapes a person who feels at fault for everything bad that has happened to her loved ones. The prologue IMMEDIATELY throws you into the story with so many questions lingering on your tongue, with the promise of answers in the backstory, but of course, also so many more questions. I went full conspiracy theorist on this, digging into what every little thing means, and the unhinged theories were plentiful! I ferally await book 2 to see where we go from here!
