Cute dress with cute options. Pattern language needs work

This was our first pattern from Sunflower Seams. Pattern was easy to tape and cut. The directions were lacking in a few steps. First, the fabric was NOT consistent throughout the pattern instructions, making it difficult to follow which was the lining color and finished side color from big step to big step. The language also did not always specify the lining or top piece. The steps for the collar were the most severely lacking and even after discussing with 2 other people, we all felt more was needed there. Had the fabric stayed consistent throughout the pattern instructions, some of the confusion around lack of specificity wouldn't have been as big an issue. Overall, the dress is cute and will look at this store for other pattern projects in the future.

Awesome Dress

I love the drop waist in this dress.. I read all the instructions but havent made it yet I am waiting on my fabric to arrive!! I am so excited to sew this. I have sewn other patterns from SS and they have all come out perfect so I know this one will be perfect too!!
