I’d love to give this a 5/5 for the incredible tan/color that I get and how good my skin feels. . but. . the reality is. I’m SO disappointed that there are dyes in this product. I’ve watched a lot of the TikTok videos & even went to Instagram to check out the content there as well, before buying two of these tanning gels, but feel fooled… The one TT video in particular talks about the first 5 ingredients being what the product is mostly made of and talks about petroleum in the competitors product, meanwhile petrolatum is the first ingredient in this product. . petrolatum comes from petroleum… The one IG reel in particular talks about being able to eat the ingredients in this product. . but petrolatum. . no thanks. And having beet & carrot - why is there a need for dyes? Those two alone would color it. Let’s talk about the two biggest reasons I’m disappointed in the dyes (besides the facts that they’re extremely unhealthy, absorbed into your bloodstream within seconds and banned in many countries!) if you sweat at all - which ya usually do in the sun, your body creases are red & greasy! You touch anything - RED. My towels. . stained red. . a couple of my swimsuits ($100+ ones at that)… stained red. . (despite hearing in many videos that this product doesn’t stain) So - am I getting a great tan? 100% yes but am I also ruining clothes & towels in the process? Also yes! Even around my nails stay red for a day after I use this product. I use the Yuka app to scan every product that I use before buying, but unfortunately since this product was purchased online, I couldn’t scan it ahead of time, but I wish I could have, as I wouldn’t have bought it. . because it is only rated 41 out of 100! Sadly, this purchase was a one and done for me UNLESS the petrolatum & dyes are removed. **I tried multiple times to upload the video of my swimsuit but it won’t let me
