Tiffany Dress - Grape Gingham

Lovely lilac but not love

I jumped on this dress for the colour and this didn’t disappoint. It’s a lovely lilac. I find the long sleeves flattering and likely to last into cooler seasons. The description did say it has a white cotton lining which was a selling point for me but it doesn’t. Still, underwear colour doesn’t seem to show obviously through the white squares. I do find it easier to just pull the dress down rather than use the zips, which isn’t ideal. I think it’s the stretchy bodice requiring two hands (or one hand/teeth) to hold in place while zipping and smaller openings than the tshirts. By comparison I find the shirts much easier to zip and use with no shirring and longer openings. The new adjustments do keep bra straps hidden and the sleeves plentiful without being overwhelming. It’s a great length for bending over to pick up baby/nappy changes without flashing. Brooke was wonderful help in getting the right size for me as the guide is a little tricky due to the level of shirring stretch. So helpful over messenger and a TikTok live comparing it to my T-shirt size in real time. I look forward to seeing her future designs.
