Creative Cuts: Wondrous Ride Layering Die Set

More beautiful than even the images on the website

As a lover of San Francisco and its beautiful carroussel, I had to have this die set. And I was not disappointed: amazing quality dies cut reliably through all manner of cardstock, the image assembles easily (if there was a Nobel prize for crafty innovation, Altenew surely deserves it for the Keyhole sytem!) and looks simply stunning on any card! It can be adapted in so many ways (horse / unicorn, cardstock colours, ink blending - various hats to make it seasonal, I have so many ideas!), I am certain it will be a rich source of beautiful cards for a long time to come.

A carousel unicorn! This die set is absolutely charming in its vintage look (oh, those roses in the curling mane!). Even better is its versatility: without using the horn, we have a horse; without the stand, the animal gallops; without the tack, s/he's free to roam! Love, love, love this set's ability to spark the imagination, and the guides make it so easy to assemble! Might there be more carousel creatures offered in future releases?

My dies arrived quickly. They work perfectly. I appreciate the "how to assemble your carousel horse" directions, because I tried with just my instincts first and flubbed it! Following the directions, it came out just right, lovely.
