Monterosa 2

A must have for the trail

If you need a smaller fit in your sunglasses, the Monterosa 2 is the perfect fit with a polarized lens and reactiv contrast. I'll be wearing theae when I hike Mt Kilimanjaro. Thanks Julbo!

Almost Perfect.

The Julbo Monterosa 2's are, contrary to the title a gave to this review, a perfect pair of sunglasses. Where they fall short, and the reason I only gave them 4 stars instead of 5, has strictly to do with the color options available and the annoying mismatch in color between the side guards and the rest of the frame. I find it distracting from the overall aesthetic when the small, square patch next to the ear, ie. the side guards, are a different color than the rest of the frame. Thankfully, I'm not using my Monterosa's at high elevations, surrounded by snow and ice, but around town where the side guards aren't mandatory. For this reason I removed them entirely and have had no issues since.
