What lowered my perception of SKIN1004 was their disappointing customer service & failure to honor their written refund policy. My Centella Teca Ampoule (50ml) arrived damaged & leaking from shipping, which I documented with photos. However, customer service insisted I also provide an unboxing video in addition to photos, despite their policy stating customers may submit “a photograph or video” of the issue. Requiring customers to record themselves unboxing every package is unreasonable and creates the impression that the brand expects defective products or consumers to act as unpaid creators. The inconsistency between their policy and practices made the experience frustrating and unprofessional. As former loyal advocate for this brand, due to my recent online brand experience, I will no longer recommend shopping directly from the brand. In a highly competitive beauty market, there are brands out there that will take care of their customers, while maintaining higher quality products.
