Aggressive Tufting Made Us Hybridize Our Hybrid
We started years ago in our master bedroom with a King-size Pillow Cube Deluxe Hybrid Mattress, which soon failed to support sitting at the edges due to poor internal containment of springs. We replaced it, after a defects complaint to PC, with a partial refund + a Pillow Cube Deluxe Foam Mattress, which made it painful to side-sleeper husband's rotator-cuff-torn shoulder. So, we topped that mattress with a Saatva Graphite Memory Foam Topper. This was perfect for back-sleeper wife but eventually became insufficient for husband, driving him to our guest-bedroom Full-size Hampton & Rhodes HR1500, which was good for his shoulder, not so good for his lower back, and kept us apart -- not good! -- every night. Looking for a King-size mattress on which both of us could sleep comfortably every night, we searched for a King-size HR1500 and saw that it was discontinued but that the GhostBed Luxe Hybrid was a good match for it. Having heard Dana Loesch promote it on her podcast, we took the GhostBed quiz and got confirmation that the GhostBed Luxe Hybrid was the best match for us. So, we ordered it on April 10, got it on April 16, set aside our Pillow Cube Deluxe Foam Mattress for later donation, and got a full refund from Saatva for donating the Graphite Memory Foam Topper to a furniture bank. Many-years-a-side-sleeper husband loved the King-size GhostBed Luxe Hybrid, noticing less shoulder pain when sleeping on his side and finally able to sleep for hours on his back. One-year-ago-back-surgery wife -- a many-years-a-back-sleeper -- found the tufting of the GhostBed Luxe Hybrid too aggressive and therefore painful to her back. One after another, she tried three different yoga mats on her side of our GhostBed Luxe Hybrid between the fitted sheet and the mattress. First mat was wide but too thick and much too firm. Second mat was thinner but too narrow and still too firm. Third mat had the right firmness and nice thinness but was only 24" wide. Looking for something other than a yoga mat, the wife ruled out the GhostBed Memory Foam Topper as too aggressive-looking in terms of its many different textures and because it comes with a no-refund policy. She also ruled out the GhostBed Massage Topper as too complicated for what she wanted. We eventually got a Twin-XL-size Saatva Natural Latex Mattress Topper, which lies beneath the fitted sheet on the wife's side of our GhostBed Luxe Hybrid and gave her the back-sleeping comfort that she wanted. By the way, we looked at replacing our King-size GhostBed Luxe Hybrid with one of the GhostBed Split-King Adjustable Sets but (a) wondered whether sleeping on separated mattresses tends to drive a marriage apart, (b) did not see, even if separated mattresses are good for a marriage, how to order a Luxe - Hybrid for the husband's side and a Luxe - Foam for the wife's side, and (c) did not see whether the Luxe - Foam has minimal or no tufting. So, for now, we sleep together on a King-size GhostBed Luxe Hybrid that we "hybridized" with a Twin-XL-size Saatva Natural Latex Mattress Topper on the wife's half of the mattress.

Best Mattress Ever
Struggled with hip and shoulder pain for years on expensive mattresses. From night one on the ghostbed luxe hybrid no more pain, little to no flip-flopping all night and much improved sleep. I got the sheet set a week later and it also helped improve comfort level.
