My biggest issue with this product is how it performs on tires. I’ve tried applying it several different ways, but I just can’t seem to get a consistent, high-gloss finish.
I’ve tried spraying it directly onto the tire and letting it soak in before leveling it, but after a few minutes it ends up looking matte, even when used undiluted. I’ve also tried applying it with a foam applicator, but the results are the same. I even put it in a paint gun, which is how I normally applied my previous dressing, Aqua Gloss, but still couldn’t achieve the finish I was looking for.
Even with a very light coat, the product tends to run onto the face of the wheels, leaving white streaks that need to be cleaned up, only for the tire itself to dry with a matte appearance as if no dressing had been applied. Maybe I’m using the product incorrectly, but based on my experience, I haven’t been happy with its performance on tires.
