Ditch the paper inner sleeves and move to plastic or rice paper/plastic sleeves - these are more gentle on the records than the paper ones.

One of the records was scuffed/scratched. Before they would let me exchange it, they made me scratch it so it was unplayable. The new disc was sent, and it looks like they put the disc blank side down and rubbed it on a rough surface, because it is more scratched on the blank side than the first one was (which is only aesthetic, but still annoying).
