Rubberised Raincoat

fashionable long-length raincoat

i was looking for a long-length raincoat that didn't look too 'outdoorsy/hiking' but preferably fashionable. this one fits the bill so i'm glad that i came across it whilst browsing online. it's ideal for town living out & about. my usual dress size is 12-14 but find that coats & jackets are generous in sizing so i choose a smaller size. opted for size 10 & it fits perfectly. it doesn't look over-sized but has the right amount of roominess for wearing layers or a jumper beneath. the length reaches to below the knee at top of calves for my 5'5" height. it has a slit up the back to enable big strides/movement. the fabric is rubbery but you can't tell until looked at closely or by touching it. colour is light khaki. it's a simple design without fussy features - just 2 big pockets at front. as it's been sunny weather it hasn't been tested for water-proofing i.e. whether a heavy downpour would seep into the joins & seams. but shower-resistant is suitable for my needs & the rubber fabric will provide for that. it's fully lined within & without any padding so most suitable for inclement weather in spring & summer.
