Bonavita Enthusiast 8-Cup Drip Coffee Brewer with Thermal Carafe

Great coffee but definitely an issue with the brew basket

Truly the best cup of brewed coffee that I’ve ever had. The “BLOOM” feature does its job and the coffee is fantastic. But the brew basket came apart after 2 uses. The “pause and serve” mechanism that’s on the bottom of the basket came off in the sink (spring, plunger and rubber gasket). Luckily I noticed before draining the sink or I would have lost the parts. I put the parts back on the basket but they came off again a few days later. Again I was able to retrieve them from the sink (hand wash ONLY for this unit). I checked on replacement parts because it seems inevitable that I’m going to lose them one of these time and it looks like you have to replace the whole basket. What a shame that the product has this flaw when the coffee is excellent…
