Basically an upgrade to unlock the full potential of the device, the basis remote lacks importsnt features for mixups, seperate section control and patterns which this has.

Nicer to hold than the base version. The fact that it's wireless also means no tangling of cuffs and wire. Finally the fact that it can also connect to other toys is a fun plus (can't wait until it connects to two simultaneously)
