Heavy is good
Upon arrival. I noticed. My shreddie 8. Was 42kg. I go gym. So I know thats a chance. Then I see this compact dance mean machine. And all my doubts. Went away. This really does eat with ease

Huge upgrade from my old shredder
I used to have one of those cheap Chinese shredders and it jammed all the time. Even small plastic pieces would get stuck and I’d have to take it apart every other session. I finally decided to get something more serious and the Shredii 8 has been a completely different experience. It has not jammed a single time for me and it just eats through all my 3D printed scrap. The build feels solid, the flakes come out clean, and it fits nicely on my workbench. Honestly one of the best tools I’ve added to my shop in a long while.

A hungry machine that loves to eat (3d prints)
Well designed and constructed machine. It feels like it is built like a tank. Great customer support also for wiring help. Less 1 star because I found the link cable provided to be very thick and difficult to clamp on the deadman switch and a little more length would be helpful. -Printed custom funnel and lid with acrylic window. -Printed custom gasket and chute to isolate the wooden table and shredded prints (contamination) followed with a flap seal under the table. I have put PLA, PETG and ABS through SHREDII with only a small amount of clumping if the blades get a little warm. But you just throw it back into SHREDII. For recycling to make new filament, creating regrinds needs 2 or 3 cycles through SHREDII to get the particles small enough.
