I have a few other osprey bags and they are perfect. This duffel is no different. It is extremely well made and the material is thick. So thick in fact it needs a breaking in period. This duffel fits in a narrow gym locker with ease. It is just one big compartment and three small zipper pockets: one inside on the 'lid' and two on the outside. The 45L is the perfect size for all my gym essentials: two pull-up assist bands, big metal water bottle, change of clothes, shower stuff, gym shoes, shower shoes, big bottle of body spray--all of it, with a ton of room to spare, but I hate carrying bags that are stuffed to the hilt because it's hard to rummage around in them. I love that it can be carried backpack style and that it can fold down into a wad the size of a pair of folded jeans. The lug handles on both sides of the bag are also fabulous for dragging it out of the car and any other necessary manhandling. I have the daylite plus backpack and several smaller accessory bags from Osprey and honestly if you're thinking of buying this duffel--just do it. You won't regret it. They last forever.
