First year to order from Territorial including Nootka Rose
In the past I have ordered garlic from another company specializing in garlic. I have had alot of success with Territorial tomato and pepper transplants and decided to try garlic. I planted 5 varieties including Nootka near the end of October. All have come up. Part were planted in compost in old Rubbermaid horse water troughs in our duck and horse compost. The other half were planted in the raised beds with compost dug in. Then all plantings were mulched with used hay from our duck pens. All have sprouted. The Nootka is probably the slowest but I am excited to see how my garlic is at harvest in 2026.

Disappointed
The garlic I received had brown spots on many of the tips of the cloves. None have rooted. I tried rooting store bought garlic to see if I was the problem. Every clove rooted. I sent a note to Territorial and immediately received a refund. I hope to try again next year. I love this company.

Lovely garlic
I’ve been planting these garlic for a while and they always perform. They are great in the kitchen and last well over the year.
