I wanted to add a subwoofer to my 2013 Jeep JKU. Options for the trunk were about $1000 and I only wanted a little bit of bass. (I also have dogs and I worry a wet shake would damage). I checked online reviews, etc and decided on the 10". I was able to do the installation myself. Mind you I have installed a Stinger 12" head unit and Trail Seven Kicker speaker upgrade mostly myself so I had some experience. The only change I had to do with the kit is remove the RCA adapter since the Stinger headunit has R/L RCA output. I am getting great bass. I only crank it halfway (higher seems distorted to me). When I place my hand on the passenger seat, you can feel the vibration!. My one suggestion to Trail7 is they should ask what headunit you have and then they can create proper connections (and more specific directions) for the headunit. In my case, you have to also turn up the subwoofer setting in the headunit (Stinger 12") to get alot of bass. A final comment. Trail7 offered me a second unit for a huge discount when I bought the first one. I might have bought it but without any installation guide for 2 subwoofers, I was not up for it.
