Perfect Notebook
I love this binder. I can easily change out pages. It is great for everything from meeting notes to recipes to study buddy. Durable and I think it is the perfect size.
It looks great on my desk but I bet it will look even better after a few years of patina!

Small Rings - Doesn’t Hold a Lot of Paper

There are a lot of things about this binder that I really like: it’s attractive, sturdy, and a good size.
However, after using it for several months, I don’t find it well designed for actual use.
I bought it because I do watercolor sketches and write on squared paper, organizing both by project. I needed different kinds of paper within the same project rather than separate notebooks.
This seemed great in theory because I can buy different types of paper in a standard size. Unfortunately, the rings are too small to accommodate many working projects.
I currently have three projects, each with maybe five or six pages, some thicker watercolor paper, and the binder is already overstuffed. Pages constantly rip out, and when I move them around, the binder sometimes opens and releases other pages.
The strap also comes loose and doesn’t stay tight. Not a huge deal on its own, but worth mentioning alongside the other usability issues.
