Unhappy customer , uncomfortable dog

I purchased the left leg harness and cruciate knee brace on request from my vet . After the vet had measured , she is only 6kg , small dog and measured 21cm, I was asked by my vet to order the XS as it stated 22-24 on the website. on arrival I took it to my vets and she fitted it to my dog in another room to where I was standing. The tags were removed and I was told that it’s a little tight in some places so to place padding on one of the straps. It’s cutting into her right groen and is extremely uncomfortable. I feel it is badly fitting and sadly I am unable to use it as I feel it would cause more damage to my dog by hurting her right leg
