I had a 10 inch pan fall about 6 inches from a drain rack onto my phone. The edge of the pan hit squarely on the screen. The screen protector cracked as designed, but my actual screen was safe. I hated to test the protector in real life, but having seen it in action I can recommend it highly! I just ordered another set to install on my iPhone.
