I race a SRF3 and the open top of this wheel provided superior sight access to my AIM Dash. Also, the grip quality of the leather and overall thickness of the wheel suited my hands perfectly, providing the confidence I was seeking. An added bonus which I never considered until I started using this wheel was the leverage provided by the top sections of the wheel when maneuvering in tight quarters; so much easier to just PUSH down on the top of the wheel instead of gripping and PULLIING down with your thumbs.
