The shirt is comfortable to wear

The graphics are cool, but washing this shirt in the washing machine has left a residue similar to a sweat stain. I don’t put the shirt in the dryer, nor do I iron it, as directed. I machine wash cold with like colors as instructed. I’m confused about why washing it would leave a residue when none of my other clothing has this issue.
