A very good reel—smooth when retrieving line, and offers good drag power for a size 2500 reel. Aesthetically, it looks great, it is lightweight and feels very sturdy. The only issue is that, on my third fishing trip, it started making a faint "ticking" sound when turning the handle. It hasn't failed me yet, though, so I plan to keep using it.
