NLT SonRise - Semi Yapp

Amazing

I’ve owned and used a lot of Bibles over the years, but the Humble Lamb NLT SonRise has quickly become one of my favorites. From the incredibly soft goatskin leather to the beautiful craftsmanship, it’s clear this Bible was created by people who not only value quality, but who deeply love the Lord and His Word. What stands out most to me is how this Bible gently but consistently draws the reader toward Christ. The single-column layout, 10-point font, and excellent paper make it easy to linger in Scripture for long stretches without distraction, allowing the Word itself to take center stage. And then there are the details—the stunning Gustave Doré illustrations and the hidden fore-edge artwork of Christ’s Resurrection—which serve as quiet, reverent reminders that all of Scripture ultimately points us to Jesus. Nothing feels ornamental for its own sake; everything seems designed to lift the eyes of the reader to the risen Savior. The NLT translation reads smoothly and naturally, making it especially helpful for daily reading and devotional time. It invites you not just to study the text, but to dwell in it—to sit with it long enough for the truth of Christ to press deeply into the heart. If I had one minor critique, it would be that I’d love to see a slightly wider inner margin for note-taking and reflection. But even that is a small consideration in light of how thoughtfully this Bible has been put together. Overall, this is an heirloom-quality Bible that doesn’t merely sit on a shelf looking beautiful—it calls you back again and again to the living Word, and ultimately to the person of Jesus Christ Himself. For me, that is what makes it so special. Five stars without hesitation.

My First Premium Bible!

It is better than expected! The feel of the leather is soft. The text size is really friendly, great Bible to read for young and old. The only thing I think could be improved on is the text being so tight to the gutter of the book.
