The Apostle's Creed

Rev. Hoeksema has always been one of my favorite Ministers of our Denomination. He was instrumental in bringing me to the PRC and becoming a member over 20 years ago. This book brings forth many truths that I doubt many believers have even considered, especially about what means "conception" by the Holy Spirit, Christ being "born OF" the Virgin Mary. Was Jesus in all ways like us, sin excepted? Seems many believers do not understand this Truth, yet our Faith is critical in understanding the details of what it means that The Eternal Only Begotten Son of God IS Incarnate in the flesh. 1 John 5:1 "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him."

Getting Started

So far the reading is very interesting; so much theology in this creed provided by Sir Hoeksema. Taking a while to finish it as I re-read portions to make sure I get it all!
