Cottino Cotton Merino Blend Yarn

Right yarn for this project?

This yarn is soft and drapes well so I am not sure it was the best yarn for the METHOD TOTE kit that I purchased. I had trouble with the yarn splitting as I carried the yarn along the project. (tapestry style crochet) I ended up switching to a different pattern for the tote bag and I am using the yarn that way. I am also knitting this version and I have a little less issue with the splitting. I probably won't purchase this yarn again. Only used it because it came with the kit.

I am knitting a top with this yarn. So far, the fabric is really nice! It is a bit split but that is forgivable. I haven’t noticed any knots in the skein and it blocks beautifully!

SILLY GOOSE

My goose looks exactly like the one pictured so no need to send another. I'm afraid the yarn frayed a lot. Much care needed to work with it, however, I do like the texture of the yarn. I, honestly, have never had any other yarn fray that much.
