I respectfully request that this matter be investigated and that one of the following actions be taken: * Ensure that the online catalog accurately reflects each facility's current property restrictions before orders are accepted. * Improve communication between the Department of Correction and its approved package vendor so that unavailable or prohibited items cannot be purchased. * Provide a clear explanation for why items listed as approved are later rejected by the facility. * Implement procedures to prevent customers from paying for products that inmates ultimately cannot receive. Families should not have to guess whether items listed on an approved ordering website will actually be delivered. If the website is intended to reflect facility-approved property lists, then it should do so accurately and consistently.
