Bilateral Mastectomy Recovery

Less than a week out from my Bilateral Mastectomy & expanders. This is the MOST comfortable thing I purchased. Got me out of the recliner & safely & comfortably sleeping in my bed. I would recommend getting the bungees & the sheet to help hold it all together. Best night sleep I have had was being cradled in my sleep again sleep system. Can’t give it enough stars or recommend it enough for anyone going through this awful process!

I am excited to recover with these pillows. Preparing for abdominal wall reconstruction surgery, my Plan-A was a set of interlocking foam pillows from a big (ok THE big) online retailer. The verdict: Intractable "factory foam" smell, and awkward to assemble and use. Returned those, and discovered Sleep Again! The shapes and sizes of these pillows are unusual, but they make sense. I set up the whole shebang on my bed, and I felt comfy, secure, and it seems like it will be easy to fall asleep on my back and stay there. No stress on my back or tailbone, no worries about accidentally rolling over. I like that I'll be able to reconfigure them as needed throughout the recovery process. I have not yet opened the storage bag, but I suspect it will be easier to manage storage with that bag than without.
