The design is brilliant

The best thing about the sweet surrender fruit fly trap is its looks. I don't know everything that is in its formula, but I can smell the vinegar - which means it's probably not too different from the concoction I make myself in a ramekin and set out on the counter. My own concoction is apple cider vinegar and watered down dish soap, and it works really, really well. But it is so disgusting to have to look at a bowl full of dead fruit flies. I love this screw-on cap that completely hides the pool of death inside the jar!

Had tried ebruthing to get rod of fruit flies. This stuff is amazing.

It took awhile to get the attractant just right. I was catching some fruit flies after about 3 hours. I added a little balsamic vinegar glaze and it is now working great.
