Lovely color and pattern, weird size

While I love the pattern and the color, it is not the size I expected for a King cover. I guess I missed or disregarded the dimensions in the description. The width is fine but it is barely the length (headboard to footboard) of the mattress with no overhang. I expected longer given the photo in the product description and in this survey. Photos of this cover and the older Queen sized it replaced (with the top 5" turned back) are attached for comparison

This blanket is my favorite gift - and it’s so good I’ve given myself 3! The colors are rich and the workmanship is intricate and exquisite - they are a beautiful statement piece on my bed.

We absolutely love these quilts! I would buy many more if they would make them in a twin size for bunkbeds, and if they brought back the red- that would be awesome!
