The Pool Care Handbook

Swim University is the best! We bought a home 2 years ago that had a 20x40 inground pool. I had never had to maintain a pool before. Having the physical Handbook now is my go-to reference for any situations I encounter. Swim University on YouTube saved my sanity last summer and I consider them THE authority on pool care.

It's not perfect yet but I'm learning. I have signed up for your app and I am putting the reading I get at the pool store in your app. Not sure why, but my pool is a bit cloudy, but I'm thinking it will get better.

I have bought the book because my pool has had 2 drastic problems in a row, 3 years ago a 55,000 pound tree came down in a fierce windstorm and destroyed it. It was repaired but now the new plaster is weak and black algae has taken hold and is not yet eradicated. I have a good pool technician but I realized, during these journeys with poor function, that I did not understand chemistry or circulation. So I am educating myself and the Pool Care book is very thorough and clear. I should have read it 15 years ago!
