Great Golf simulator but doesn‘t replace reality

I already used the old Skytrak monitor and thought it is a huge improvement for getting the change to play in winter in the cellar and practise golf. I was hesitating for a long time to upgrade to Skytrak+ but the many missreads and obvious inaccuracies convinced me to update. Since 3 months I now have the new version and have to say, some things improved but my high expectations were not met. So if you buy a monitor, so be aware that it is a simulation which sometimes come close to reality and sometimes not. You can play golf but don‘t expect a round with full comparison to a real round. There are to many flaws in the software that can spoil a perfect round („hit“ read when you place the ball, an impossible side spin rate that turns the ball 40m to the side etc.), but it‘s still fun to play. Things I would challenge or try to improve: - my battery doesn‘t work. I can‘t load the battery and the piece works only if constantly on the plug - the spin rates are simply not consistent or reliable. I don‘t mind for the distance, but if you have with every swing a side spin rate which I don‘t have if I play on the driving range with a Trackman, it‘s annoying. It simply means that I can‘t play as I want to. I can hit the ball perfectly well as I want but still it shows absurd results on the monitor. - The SW looks great but usability is not very userfriendly, in particular if you wnat to browse the log of your training in the „History“. Why is the used club always at the end and everytime I have to scroll down without chance to jump to the end? No shortcut, collapsing of used clubs on the top will every time be reversed etc. I would have a couple of more suggestions but all in all, it‘s just a huge improvement to have the possibility to play at home compared to nothing. I would do it again, but lower my expectations. All that was about the monitor from Skytrak+, if it comes to golfbays.co.uk I was very pleased with the support and processing to buy.
