I did not like the padding and the medium was a tighter fit (that's on me for not looking at measurements) but I would personally recommend sizing up

didn't fit - still not able to return

The size I ordered did not fit, not the store's fault, but I tried to process a return and still have not heard from customer service for a return. Not pleased.
