Was just hoping this would be a good substitute and quieter practice tool. But wow this really does exceed my hopes. All 3 amps sound good with lots of variety available . Glad I put my name on the wait list with ElectricMojo. Really happy!

Excellent preamp cab

It's hard to believe that it's real!

I mostly bough it because of analog cabsim. And it's incredible. It works very good for low gain and for high gain. 4x14 sounds like I'm staying near real 4x12 cabinet. Believe me or not but cabsim in this device is better than UAD OX. But UAD OX is (or was now) the best that I heard. Amp and preamp simulation are very good too. Nothing outstanding but simply excellent. The closest by functionality product is SansAmp devices from Tech 21. While SansAmp is very good device I would say that this one is better. In combination with Revv G4 and G3 I can get any sound that I can imagine. Bassman like, Plexi Like, Mesa Like, ENGL like. However! If the fact that is very flexible makes it complicated so this device is not for beginners I think. You should know exactly what sound you are going to get you should know how to get it. I mean how to tune equalizer what resonance and presence can give you. How power amp distortion sounds like, how preamp distortion sound like. What can you achieve with 1x12 and with 4x12. And how to use all these things in the mix. I'm not an probably and expert now, but I realize than 7 years ago when I only started my journey through guitar sound I would not understand this device. I even dissembled it to ensure it's analog and it's is. The only digital part is reverb on FV-1 which is mixed to signal with knob.
