Well, to start with. The new filter has a better seal design with its image of a O’ring seal. My El Diablo didn’t do a wheelie or anything extreme power wise with new aftermarket filter. I was more concerned with the original Speed paper filter allowing dirt to pass. I scratched my head at how the original filter is doing this?! My El Diablo didn’t have dust trails in tubing, but my nephews El Jefe did. We all know that’s bad on turbo & piston rings. Grays KTM filter is easier installed than original. The seal is so fat on original, it’s a mission to get cover locked into position. I ended up using a serpentine pulley belt wrapped around cover to get it lock turned into position. Crazy!!
