Best strings for me and best price

My hands have some sort of sweat/oil combination that corrodes regular strings within a week. Elixir's solved my issue and literally last for months. And the price through Shoreline is always the best. Thanks, John!

Very nice

I was not an immediate fan of Elixir strings. I tried Elixir Polyweb strings and disliked the slippery feel. However, I did like the Nanoweb strings better. After trying them several times I’ve found they are long-lasting and nice sounding in general. They are absolutely the perfect strings for some of my guitars and not ideal for others. So I think it’s worth trying them out to get a sense of how they perform on each guitar. I would give the Nanoweb PBs 5 stars and the 89/20s a 4 star rating. I find the 80/20s to be slightly “trebly” for my taste. However, I have not tried them on most of my guitars yet. I am not thrilled with how the wound strings fray over the sound hole after extended playing. But it doesn’t seem to affect the tone. Overall these are very nice strings that are worth the money.
